We sucessfully identified a set of ciliary and basal body genes using the approach employed in Procom (Li et al., 2004, Cell 117: 541-552).

The organisms used in comparison are:

ANCHOR organism:
    biflagellated green alga (Chlamydomonas reinhardtii)

INTERSECTION organisms:
    other ciliated organisms (such as human, Ciona, fly, and worm)

SUBTRACTION organisms:
    non-ciliated organisms (such as Arabidopsis and fungi)
